After five days of fierce competition, the 16th International Dongchuan Debris Rally and the 2019 China Cross-Country Rally Dongchuan Station came to a successful conclusion on October 7. The Thai Isuzu team driver Ou Lan, supported by Mamba Racing shocks, won the first place in the international group. Also, supported by Mamba Racing shocks, Li Jian and Zhu Hong of the Jiangxi Isuzu team won the first and second place in the T2 group respectively.
There are 9 special stages in this competition. The total mileage of the competition is 900 kilometers, and the mileage of special stage is about 600 kilometers.
Mamba Racing shocks, as the technical partner of Jiangxi Isuzu Team in 2019 season, had helped the team successfully completed TAKLIMAKAN RALLY, Asia Baja, and Silk Way Rally in China. In the Dongchuan Debris Rally, Mamba Racing shocks aslo provided high-performance shock absorbers for Thai Isuzu’s two race cars. In the five-day competition, the Mamba Racing products had withstood the harsh track environment, and the shock absorbers of the four cars in the Isuzu Legion had not shown any obvious performance failure or oil leakage. Therefore it was unanimously recognized by four players from China and foreign countries who used these high-performance shock absorbers in the competition for the first time.
Lu Ningjun, the director of the Jiangxi Isuzu team, said in an interview that the competition specially invited the Thai team to participate in the race, and used the combination of Thai & Chinese drivers to reduce the impact of objective factors on the results of the competition. For this year’s cooperation with Mamba Racing shocks, Lu Ningjun is very grateful to Mamba Racing for its support in the annual championship. He also revealed that he is currently in contact with the manufacturers about the details of participating in the Dakar Rally in 2020, and hopes more brands of shocks can join in the sponsor camp of the team as Mamba Racing shocks, contributing to the development of Chinese motorsport.
